2027 NAC Artist Fellowship

The National Arts Club offers selected established young professional artists one year of complimentary Club membership beginning in January 2027. Fellows receive access to the historic New York clubhouse and arts programs, discounted private overnight rooms, networking opportunities, and opportunities to be featured in Club programming, exhibitions, and presentations. Benefits include a $100 monthly allowance for use in the Club’s dining room, parlors, bar, and lodging. The fellowship does not provide a residency or studio.

Applicants must be at least 21 years old. Current National Arts Club members are not eligible. Applicants of all backgrounds are highly encouraged to apply. Applicants should reside within the NYC metro area during 2027 to receive the maximum benefit; the fellowship does not provide a residency or studio. Fellows may work in one or more disciplines reflected in the NAC arts committees: archeology, architecture, art and technology, culinary arts, dance, decorative arts, fashion, film, fine arts, literature, music, photography, and theater. Submit through the submission platform: a CV and cover letter together as a single PDF titled “NAC Fellows-Last Name-First Name 2027”; the cover letter must be 500 words or less and explain current work, aspirations, and how an NAC Fellowship would further artistic ambitions; links to and/or files for five samples of work and/or performances; and names and contact information for two to three references, contacted only if the applicant is chosen as a finalist. Fellows are selected by a rotating jury of arts specialists, NAC Board members, and previous Artist Fellows. Recipients will be informed in late November, with the one-year fellowship starting in January 2027. Complimentary membership includes a $100 monthly allowance restricted to the Club’s dining room, parlors, bar, and lodging. Application, participation, and additional fees are all stated as none.
