2027 Dogwood Arts Festival — Emerging Makers/Artists Tent

A one-day opportunity for emerging makers and artists to gain experience selling handmade, original artwork at the Dogwood Arts Festival. The tent operates April 25, 2027, 10AM–5PM. Selected participants pay a $30 booth fee that includes an 8-foot table, black tablecloth and two chairs.

Applications close February 15, 2027. Emerging makers/artists may be of any age or background, but must be exhibiting at the Dogwood Arts Festival for the first time and must not previously have exhibited at art festivals of the same caliber. The opportunity is for those who want festival experience but are not yet able to commit to a full three-day event. Participants must create and sell handmade, original artwork; examples include painting, photography, pottery, candles, prints and stained glass. Original artwork only. Groups and artist collectives may apply with one application. The $30 booth fee is paid only if juried into the event and includes an 8-foot table, black tablecloth and two chairs. Each participant receives a 5-foot-deep by 10-foot-long display space. Artists must provide any additional display structures, which must fit within that space; vertical display stands require sufficient weights. Required setup is April 25, 2027, between 8:00AM and 9:30AM; the tent is open that day from 10AM to 5PM. Indicate any space-related accessibility needs in the application.
