2026 Members Only

A juried, non-thematic exhibition of new original works by members of K Space Contemporary in Corpus Christi, Texas, running November 28, 2026–January 22, 2027. All visual art media are accepted, with 40–50 top-scoring works selected. Best of Show receives a solo exhibition; Second and Third Place receive cash awards. All exhibited works must be for sale, with the gallery retaining a 40% commission.

Non-thematic

Artists must be or become members of K Space Contemporary. Entry costs $10, plus membership if needed: Student and Senior (age 65+) memberships cost $20; Individual memberships cost $35. Join or renew online or select a membership option in the entry system. Payment may alternatively be made by telephone at 361-887-6834 or in person. Only one entry per artist, containing 1–2 works. Works must be original, completed within the last two years, and not previously exhibited at K Space Contemporary; reproductions and copies are not exhibited. All visual art media are accepted, including painting, works on paper, photography, ceramics/sculpture, video, and mixed media/other. Submit one image per 2D work and two images per 3D work. Maximum file size is 1000MB per image; accepted file types are GIF, JPG, MOV, MP4, PDF, and PNG. Jurors individually score works from uploaded images; 40–50 top-scoring works will be selected. Two-dimensional works may not exceed 5 feet (60 inches) in either direction. Three-dimensional works must fit through a 40in x 83in doorway and be manageable by two people. Artists must be available to install complicated works. Video will be exhibited by projection or on a television via thumb drive, depending on available space. Best of Show receives a solo exhibition; Second and Third Place receive cash awards, with no amounts stated. All works must be for sale. KSC retains 40% commission; include that commission when setting the entry-form retail price. Payments for sold works are made within 30 days of the exhibition's last day, with artists contacted about their preferred payment method. Accepted works must be hand-delivered or shipped to K Space Contemporary, 623 N. Chaparral Street, Corpus Christi, Texas 78401, by November 20 at 5 pm. Listed delivery windows are November 13–15 during regular business hours or November 18–20, 11 am–5 pm. Two-dimensional works must be exhibition-ready with wire securely attached to the back. Glazing must be Plexi-glass or equivalent; only white, off-white, or black mats are accepted. Framing drawings and prints is preferred, but works on paper may be displayed using magnets or clips. Unframed canvas paintings must have edges painted solid black, white, or grey, or with a continued image. Wet paint, fragile frames, colored mats, and thick, bulky decorative frames not part of the artwork are not accepted. Each work must arrive with a securely attached label on the back of the frame or bottom of the sculpture listing artist name, email, telephone number, title, media, date, and retail price. The gallery may reject works inaccurately represented in submission images or arriving damaged, late, poorly constructed, or poorly presented. Selecting YES to PUBLICITY OK? permits use of artwork images in exhibition promotion, including website, social media, event calendars, and print materials. Artists retain copyright and are credited whenever possible. Artists bear all shipping costs and liability for shipping damage. Include a prepaid return shipping label with the work or email it by the exhibition's end to info@kspacecontemporary.org with SHIPPING LABEL in the subject line. Works are not insured while on display; artists may insure their own work. Listed pickup windows are January 23, 11 am–5 pm, and January 24, noon–4 pm. Works left 60 days after the exhibition ends are considered abandoned, become gallery property, and may be disposed of, sold, or given away without compensation.
