2026 Juried Exhibiting Members Show

The Charleston Artist Guild is accepting painting and photography entries for its juried members exhibition, presented online and at Hobcaw Brewery in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, November 1–7, 2026. Conditional awards are Painting: $500 first place, $300 second place, and $175 third place; Photography: $300 first place, $175 second place, and $125 third place; and six $50 honorable mentions.

Open only to Exhibiting Status 2025–2026 Charleston Artist Guild members. Eligible entries are original painting or photography completed within the past two years; workshop- or class-produced work, 3D work, sculpture, fiber art, crafts, decorative arts, electronically generated photography, and AI-created or AI-enhanced art or photography are ineligible. Work must have been created solely by the artist, must not copy another person’s work or photograph, and must not have appeared previously in a CAG show. Framed dimensions must be between 8 × 10 inches and 38 × 48 inches. Artists may enter up to four works; the fee is $40 for one work plus $10 for each additional work, and a diptych counts as two pieces. Upload a professional, correctly oriented JPEG image showing no frame, mat, glass, or background; images must be at least 1500 pixels on the longest edge and no larger than 30 MB. Physical works must be wired and professionally presented; paintings must be framed unless on gallery-wrapped canvas. Accepted work cannot be substituted and must remain available for the full show. All work must be for sale; when a work sells, the Guild pays the listed price less a 10% donation to the Guild. The artist must remove artwork by the end of November 7, 2026. Entry fees are nonrefundable, and incomplete or late entries are disqualified.
