Gallery Exhibition
2026 - Holiday Arts and Crafters Show
Hosted by Las Laguna Art Gallery
Laguna Beach, CA
The opportunity
Las Laguna Art Gallery's holiday show features affordable, small artworks and handmade gifts. Local artists and makers can reserve craft tables to sell in person November 21–December 23; local or out-of-area wall artists can participate online or in the gallery's December 3–28 exhibition. Artists set their own prices, with accessible gift pricing encouraged. Everyone who submits receives at least one piece in the online exhibition.
About this call
Holiday gifts: small, affordable art and crafts
Requirements
Craft tables are for local artists and makers; wall art is open to local or out-of-area artists. Submit 1–3 pieces, maximum 3 entries per artist, as JPG images no larger than 50MB each. Crafters must provide 3 photos showing examples of what they will sell, not their whole inventory, and answer what they sell, average size and average price, preferred table size and weekdays/weekends. Table sizes and dates are chosen after invitation, first come, first served. Small shared tables are at most 4ft, with at most two crafters per day; large solo tables are 6–8ft. Only the $29 submission fee is due initially for either participation option. Additional fees are due after the jury decision or at the show. Daily craft-table rental: Monday–Thursday $40 per crafter shared or $60 solo; Friday–Sunday $60 per crafter shared or $75 solo. Booking 3 or more days earns a 15% table-rental discount. Table hours are Monday–Thursday 11 AM–5:30 PM and Friday–Sunday 11 AM–6:30 PM. In-gallery wall fees by size: 1–16 inches $30; 17–25 inches $40; 26–39 inches $50; 40 inches or larger requires discussion with the gallery. Online-only wall participation has no additional fees; artists selected for the gallery may switch online at no extra cost to avoid wall rent and shipping. Craft artists keep 90% of sales; the gallery keeps 10%. Wall artists receive 65%, with 35% retained by the gallery. Artists set prices inclusive of commission and must discuss price changes with Lori. Cash or bank-card sale proceeds are paid within 31 days; gallery-introduced buyers' eventual purchases remain subject to the agreement. Artists outside the United States bear exchange-rate and bank-transfer charges. Artists retain ownership until sale and copyright in perpetuity, grant the gallery sales-representation rights, and permit use/publication of work images for exhibitions, future calls, videos, gallery and social-media promotion. Accepted media include painting, airbrush, alcohol inks, assemblage, charcoal, color pencil, collage, digital art, drawings, encaustic, fiber art, graphite, glass art, illustration, jewelry, mixed media, new media, pastel, photography, printmaking, sculpture, video and ceramic. Crafters are asked to promote their table days; livestreaming is welcome. Ship in-gallery work via UPS or FedEx to Las Laguna Art Gallery, c/o Lori McBride, 25887 Crown Valley Pkwy apt 2234, Laguna Niguel CA 92677; parcel-locker delivery requires no signature. Local drop-off at the gallery requires arranging a time by text at 949-505-0950. Work must be wire-ready to hang and include a completed return shipping label or it will not be hung. Loose stamps, checks, cash or PayPal cannot substitute for the label. Use sturdy reusable cardboard packaging; no wooden crates, boxes with screws or packing peanuts, and avoid excessive wrapping. Work is returned during the two weeks following exhibition close. Work left 7 days after closing incurs $5 per day storage; after more than 14 days it may be sold or disposed of without notification or recourse. The gallery disclaims liability for shipping, unpacking, loss or damage; artists must arrange their own insurance if desired. Deadline information conflicts: the principal deadline and Important Dates say October 30, 2026; the calendar gives October 31, 2026 at 06:59 UTC; the prose Key Dates says October 21. Confirm the deadline with the gallery.
