The Gibbes Museum and Society 1858 invite Southern artists working in any medium to apply for an annual prize recognizing work that contributes to a new understanding of art in the South. The winner receives a monetary award and has artwork displayed in the museum's modern and contemporary galleries during the following year.
Requirements
Applicants must reside, work, or originate in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, or the District of Columbia.
