$10,000 Existential Hope Meme Prize

An international online contest seeking one short, shareable meme, video, or written-format work depicting a grounded, realistic, and hopeful vision of the future. The winning entry receives a conditional $10,000 cash prize and may be featured and promoted with credit by the organizers.

A grounded, positive future—a realistic future worth wanting, such as overcoming a significant risk, using technology to improve life, or achieving global cooperation.

Open worldwide to individuals, teams, and organizations, with no stated restriction on discipline, career stage, or nationality. Entrants under 18 need parental or guardian permission, and AI tools are allowed. Each entry must be a single short-form meme, short video, or short written-format work. Entrants must first post the work publicly on any social platform and then register it through the submission form; multiple entries are allowed but must be registered separately. Posts must remain publicly accessible throughout judging, and paid promotion or advertising is prohibited. Submissions must be the entrant's own work; permission is required to use others' work. Hateful, harmful, or discriminatory content is prohibited. Entrants retain ownership but grant the organizers permission to feature the work with credit in contest-related promotion. The conditional award is a $10,000 cash prize for the winning entry.
